After 10 years in the entertainment industry as a lead member for the band Porn and Chicken, and as Chicago’s premier event host/MC for nearly two decades, Dom Brown pivoted from being on-stage to being an  authority in the branding and consulting realm. He’s been an intricate tool in event planning, marketing, strategy, digital & social media campaign curation, and live event production. In the process Brown has become involved in the creation of some of Chicago's  most popular brands. More recently, he became a grassroots organizer to give back to his community, forming Activate Chi, a collective of multicultural and multigenerational neighborhood organizers seeking to promote acceptance among oppressed and/or marginalized  communities. With his latest transformation, Brown is now appearing on screen as the host of national television show 'Wake and Bake with Dom Brown'.  This innovative, provocative and amusing new television show documents Brown roaming the country searching  for new strains of marijuana while exploring and exposing the burgeoning legal cannabis industry and the underbelly of legislative hypocrisy and social injustices. Last year on the tales of the pandemic Dom partnered with John Schroder to form their experiential  production company, Superfruit, with their first pop-up named Artopia which toppled over 20k tickets sold. Whether performing or organizing Brown’s methods have proven to be creative, avant-garde, and exciting.

John Schroeder is one half of production team Superfruit Immersive. John has been involved in the production of festivals and pop-ups for over seven years, working with festivals such as Lollapalooza, Electric Forest, Summercamp among many others. He most recently produced the immersive art exhibit, Artopia, at Morgan MFG in the West Loop. His passion lies in concepting and bringing imaginative experiences to life with the intention of inspiring others.

Getting his start 15 years ago after obtaining his degree from Dartmouth, Mike has held nearly every position in the nightlife and hospitality industry.  
From his humble beginnings as a security guard at Sound Bar Chicago, to his current position as Operating Partner of Superfrüit Presents, Mike has obtained a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of operating a successful business.
Highlights of his career include, but not limited to:

• Achieving DJ Mag’s Top 100 Nightclubs in the World award 3x in a row (#40 in 2013, #58 in 2014, and #92 in 2015) as General Manager of The MID Chicago
• Winning Manager of the Year in Chicago’s NIghtlife Awards
• Operating one of the country’s most notable pop-ups in Saved by the Max as General Manager
• Achieving a ranking of #44 in Nightlife International’s “The World’s 100 Best Clubs 2019” as Director of Operations at PRYSM Chicago
• Featured in Billboard as an Operating Partner of Auris Presents
• Helping launch and operate successful venues such as Concord Music Hall and Radius Chicago
• Managing the wildly popular Decadence NYE Festival in Phoenix, Arizona

With a passion for showing people an unparalleled experience in everything he does, Mike continues to share his expertise with all those he collaborates with.  Tapping into his leadership qualities which stemmed from his early years as Captain of the Dartmouth Men’s Basketball Team in his college days, Mike's goal is to bring people together, and empower those around him so that they too may achieve success and happiness in everything they do.  
In his free time, Mike has also pursued his love for music by becoming a DJ and learning music production.  Expanding on this love, Mike also serves as Artist Manager to the emerging Chicago DJ Alex Kislov where he plans to share his operational and management strengths to push Alex’s career forward.  
He is beyond excited to join the Superfrüit Presents team in 2022 in what he believes will be his biggest year yet!

Lorena cut her teeth operating some of Chicagos most pivotal music and bar venues. With more then 17 years in the industry, Lorena has garnered skills from every end.  from film to arts and culture Lorena has lead team after team to success. Joining Superfruit first as an Administrative assistant, Lorena quickly climb the ladder to partner. Her dedication the craft and ability to execute with great precision are the tip of the sword when discussing her long list of talents.
